Preparation for the Flinders Ranges

Trevor and I are booked on a 7 day walking holiday in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia. The challenge is getting Trevor fit enough to be able to tackle most, if not all, of the walks. He has been building up distance and is now tackling inclines (in the Inti manner).

In the meantime I am continuing my walking regime and will throw in more up and down Mt. Taylor segments to ensure that I am able to readily tackle any of the climbs that are included in the holiday. St Mary Peak will be climbed!

Update: Tuesday 12 June 2012

Trevor climbed Mt. Taylor today. He went up and down on the paved road which is actually the hardest on the legs. I am impressed.

Trevor has just returned from his early morning walk and commented that the climb up Inkster Street was much easier this morning. His comment was something like "Someone has obviously gone our and graded Inkster so that it is not as steep".
